I spent a great afternoon accompanying John Swinney, Depute First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills on a visit to Thornlie Primary School in Wishaw.
Alongside my colleague Clare Adamson MSP and Headteacher Mr Hughes, I met with teachers, staff, parents and pupils and saw first hand the innovative work going within the school.
